Registered apprenticeship is an employer-based workforce development model that addresses the challenges of worker skills gaps, growing retirements, and talent retention.  Minnesota employers are invited to develop a registered apprenticeship program to recruit, train, and retain their 21st century highly-skilled workforce.

The Minnesota Apprenticeship Initiative (MAI) targets employers in these five high-growth industries:

 • advanced manufacturing;

• agriculture;

• health care;

• information technology; and

• transportation.

Come learn how registered apprenticeship can be a benefit to your organization and hear about potential grant opportunities available to you.
