Congratulations on the new gig! How did you connect with GDC?
NORTHFORCE’s job post for the marketing and special events coordinator position with the Greater Downtown Council showed up in my LinkedIn feed. The position caught my eye and I ended up applying for the role!
How’s it going so far?
My new role with the Greater Downtown Council has been great. I joined the team in late November and have already met so many amazing people in the downtown business community. I’m excited to be part of such a strong community with passion for the Downtown and I’m looking forward to seeing our events come to life throughout the year.
What keeps you #NorthByChoice?
The outdoors and the community are what keep me in the Northland. I grew up visiting Duluth in the summers for Grandma’s Marathon and have always loved this place. I moved here to go to school at UMD and grew to love it even more. There are endless things to do and places to explore and a great community of people.
