WalltetHub has identified Superior, Wisconsin as one of the nation’s best small cities to start a business. Superior ranked 16 out of 1,200 cities across the U.S. with populations between 25,000 and 100,000.
The selection was based on three criteria: business environment, access to resources, and business costs. Lower overhead and stronger customer relations were cited as the particular advantages to starting a business in cities of this size. A rank of 32 earned Superior highest marks in the business environment category.
Nearby West Fargo, Grand Forks, St. Cloud, and Moorhead also placed well in the study. View the full list of Best Small Cities to Start a Business and read more about the study here.
